Dr. Conille welcomed the opportunity to engage with private sector and financial services organizations in the Bahamas this week.
The Resident Coordinator met with Dave Smith, Managing Director of the Bahamas Development Bank; Timothy Ingraham, General Manager and Director of Bahamas Chamber of Commerce; and Tanya McCartney, CEO and Executive Director of Bahamas Financial Services Board. Bahamas’ finance and business communities have been strong proponents of quality education, technology, and innovation to move national priorities and development goals forward.
The Resident Coordinator reiterated that the inputs of these stakeholders are critical to an effective recovery from COVID19 and in shaping the next United Nations Multi-stakeholder Development Cooperation Framework 2022.
