Today at the beginning of his 5-day mission, Resident Coordinator Dr. Garry Conille met with United Nations agencies in The Bahamas.
The Resident Coordinator articulated the vision for a stronger relationship of collaboration and partnership with the people and Government of the country. Dr. Conille also used the opportunity to affirm his confidence in PAHO/WHO leadership, Dr. Edona Boisson, Dr. Carissa Etienne, Dr. Boisson, and her local team - especially at this time in the pandemic’s response.
The Resident Coordinator's mission continues with a number of consultations with civil society, the private sector, and government stakeholders in The Bahamas.
