United Nations Resident Coordinator Garry Conille shares Letters of Credence with Bahamas Minister of Foreign Affairs

The Honourable Darren A. Henfield, Bahamas Minister of Foreign Affairs, accepted the Letters during their virtual exchange.
The leaders discussed matters of the Bahamas' national priority as well as opportunities to further strengthen the engagement of The United Nations.
The Honourable Minister conveyed gratitude to United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres for his continued support to The Bahamas, particularly, in its recovery from Hurricane Dorian. Dr. Conille pledged his continued support towards the national development of the country. As the United Nations Resident Coordinator resident in Jamaica, Dr. Conille is also assigned to Bermuda, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos Islands, and The Cayman Islands.
